DM4600e UART (factory upstart kernel?)

Hi.
I have a non working M0t0r0l@ DM4601e
During firmware upload, it stopped responding - display does not light up.
I have no USB communication.
I've connected to the UART, but apart from the bootme message in the Tera Term I can't see anything else.
Am I doing something wrong or do I need a factory upstart kernel file?
Maybe someone has one and can help me out?

You will most probably need something called "FlashZap MOTOTRBO" Software to ressurect your radio.

I have, but only version v 1.00.00.
After selecting ramloader in Flashzap I also have no communication.
I probably need Flashzap v2.x, but this one is not publicly available anywhere.
Maybe someone has an idea how to revive this radio with the tools I have?

Flashzap II is only for the APX radios and useless.
You need the proper upstart kernel and a proper TI Custom Secure UART Host tool,to load it.
I don't have it but I'm on the run to get it.

Did you tried to set the radio in flashzap mode?

Run motozap.bat to set the radio in flashtap mode.A green led must be shown.
If you see this,patch the MOTOTRBO Depottool 14 with this patch: https://www.mediafire.com/file/uvh7g...patch.zip/file
Install the latest Firmware and copy it into the folder of the readme file (should be R02.240.11002).
Flashzap your radio.
Run the depottool and select the Tanapa frorm the radio sticker and flash it with the latest firmware.

Of course, I have Depottool v14, but I remind you that there is no USB communication with the radio.
You can't see it turn on - zero information on the display.
I've also already downloaded UART Boot Host v1.2, but without the AIS file I'm unlikely to do anything.

I thought you have an E series radio, that was flashed with a wrong Tanapa.This can be fixed with a patched depottool (recognize newer firmware after R02.09).
Newer E series radios have a different hardware (NXP CPU instead OMAP-L138).
Regular USB connection and flashzapped USB connection,are two different things.Both use a different driver.If you cannot connect normally,a flashzappded radio can still connect.
If it is impossible to flashzap the radio,recovering via UART is the only way to fix it.

I have read the Detailed Service Manual for DM 4601e (May 2018) and the Detailed Service Manual for XPR 5550e (2015) and in both versions OMAP L138 is discussed.
Exactly, I only have UART left, but I understand that without factory upstart kernel (known for recovery Tetra) or another AIS file I can't do anything, right?

Yes,if the bootloader is killed,the only way is the factory UART,to recover it.You need the special upstart kernel.
Tetra Freon radios have the same CPU inside and the TI tool is a part of the lab version.Regulary it is an ais file,but Moto often use other endings like bin.
A TI OMAP-L13x UART upstart kernel,has the TIPA YSX in the header.
