1. How the selection is done between GPRS and EGPRS ? (In my issue phone is GPRS mode even though the cell support EGPRS)
2. Huawei Parameters related enhance 2G data throughput?

there are few things you need to look into,
Ue capability,Is cell configured with EGPRS? & do you have enough transmission slots?Bad C/I ?

What I want to know is the exact parameter which triggers the GPRS and EGPRS eventhogh idle TS are mapped. I started this thread as a part of the search
